Ulaanbaatar- On 19th November2021 the Mongolian Student Sports Federation (MSSF)successfully held the 8thGeneral Assembly (GA)at the "Red Rock" conference and recreation center in the Gorkhi-Terelj National Park.The GA was attended by more than 70 teachers, students and administrators from 30 universities and collegesof capital city and Arkhangai, Bayan-Ulgii, Gobi-Altai, Darkhan-Uul, Dornogovi, Uvs and Khovd provinces.

During the GA Bayasgalan D., MSSFPresident andFISU Treasurer reportedtheaction report of MSSF for 2017-2021, Usukhbayar M., Director of the Mon-Altius PE Institute andMSSF Chairman of the Audit Committee presented the report of monitoring Committee,Jargalsaikhan D., MSSF Secretary General and AUSFVice President delivered the strategic plan of MSSF for 2022-2025 andKheruuga T., Rector of the Mongolian university of life science and MSSF Vice Presidentdiscussed the revised statute of MSSF.

The delegates actively participated in the discussion of the reports and presentations, made several comments and criticisms.At the end 11 resolutions were adopted.All delegates unanimously commended the success of the MSSF activities for 2017-2021 and set goals for the future. Furthermore, a revised statute of MSSF was discussed and approved.

In the election part ofGeneral Assembly Bayasgalan D. as MSSF President, Kheruuga T. as MSSF Vice president and Jargalsaikhan D.as Secretary General was re-elected for next term 2022-2025.Additionally the following delegates; Batsaikhan Kh., Head of the Administration department of “Erdenes-Tavantolgoi” JSC, Gundegmaa L., Deputy Rector of the National PE Institute, Erdenepurev L., Head of the PEdepartment of the National university of Mongolia, Munkh-Erdene D., Chairman of Board the “City”university, Enkhsaikhan G., Director PE school of theMongolian nationaluniversity of Education, Baatarzorigt O., Head of the PE department of the Mongolian university of science and technology, Undrach G., Teacher of the “Avarga” PE Institute and Tenuun O., President of the Basketball student association were elected in the MSSF Executive Committee for the next term.

Usukhbayar M.wasre-elected as the Chairman of the MSSF audit committee with members Tserensodnom L., Professor of Mongolian national university of education and Banzaagaya M., Director of the Nationaluniversity of medical science in Gobi-Altai province.

The MSSF 8thGeneral Assembly was planned to be held in November 2020 but was postponed for this year due to the pandemic situation.

In the end of the GA “Best student-athleteof 2020” award went to Khulan E.two-timechampion of the Asian university online chess championship who is a student of the Mon-Altius PE Institute. Shurentsetseg B., student of the National PE Institute who was the silver medalist of the Asian university online cheerleading championship was awarded by “Best student-athlete of 2021”.
